Robin AI leverages Anthropic's Claude 3 generative AI model alongside Robin’s own models. A copy of Claude 3 exists inside Robin AI’s cloud environment, meaning user data never leaves Robin’s cloud.

In January 2025, Robin AI announced the addition of “Answer Types”, a feature with Robin AI Reports that allows legal teams to create structured data at scale, by importing data into popular software such as Microsoft Excel, and other Customer Relationship Management and Contract Lifecycle Management tools.
