Users are able to narrow their search by technology area to increase chances of finding prior art. NLPatent then produces a list of the best prior art results, ordered by relevance. By filtering across a number of facets and iterating on the original search, NL-Patent can reduce an effective prior art search from days to a matter of hours. The iterative search learns from users' input.
