Overview

Hebbia has developed a proprietary, patent-pending AI architecture that, unlike RAG, sources full documents without losing any context and decomposes user questions into multi-step agentic execution. The moment a user asks a question, Matrix breaks down complex tasks into single-steps it can take with agents. This lets Matrix provide complete answers, exhaustive analysis of all documents, and execute on end-to-end processes.

Hebbia’s Matrix is a visual data grid that (1) decomposes a user’s query into step-by-step AI actions, (2) retrieves the appropriate data sources (e.g., side letters, credit agreements, depositions, or state regulations), thousands at a time if necessary, and (3) operates upon that data through a lawyer’s workflow of summarization, analysis, abstraction, comparison and/or synthesis – where separate AI agents own each step.

Matrix is natively multi modal – and can reason over charts and tables and process any document type–whether PDFs, images, email chains, or decks. With dynamic routing between all-text LLMs and vision models for detection, parsing, and localization, it will use the best models for any task.

Users can see how AI is making decisions, and collaborate on those processes live. Users are able to collaborate, edit, update, and co-work with AI models in the Matrix interface.Hebbia is used by multiple professional industries.
