DocStyle Compare offers the following features: 

QuickCompare
This is the premier feature of the product, the most dynamic when used in conjunction with a Document Management System. Exactly as the name suggests, the ability to quickly lookup and select files, including initiating comparisons on open files without saving or checking them out.

DMS Integration
DocStyle Compare offers direct integration with formal Document Management Systems. This is not a feature, rather an accessibility option that allows the software to browse and select files within secure repositories.

Save As
When using a DMS, there are times when you may want to save the comparison for future reference. DocStyle Compare integration includes connectivity for the DMS, allowing you to save the redline as a new version, new sub-version, or attachment.

Email Documents / Compare and Email
Attaching files to Outlook mail messages either automatically during the comparison process or independently after the comparison has completed. Customers like the ability to edit the filenames and change the filetype for each attachment (i.e., redline, original, & modified).

Right Click Compare
The ability to select documents from the Document Management System user interface, web user interface, or within Windows by selecting one or two files. Once selected, choose DocStyle Compare from the right click menu and run a redline. DocStyle Compare supports Send to Application for our NetDocuments and accessibility through the Compare Files button inside Worldox.

Drag & Drop
Grab files and drag them to the DocStyle Compare desktop icon to initiate a comparison.

Clipboard Compare
The ability to compare paragraphs or snippets of text. Most often used by lawyers when comparing clauses from contracts and they don’t want to get a comparison result of the entire document.

Manage OptionSets
The ability to save, use, and reuse collections of settings that allow a user to tailor the comparison results document in any way they choose. This is not so much a feature that’s prominent and notable, but a necessity for convenience every other comparison product on the market has as well. Most other companies call them Rendering Sets.

Print Pages with Changes
The ability to only print the pages with changes on them. DocStyle Compare will parse you redline and prepare a PDF file, excluding all irrelevant pages so you can focus on only what’s changed. Print Comments is another option within Print Pages with Changes that’s popular allowing you to print only the comments in the document.

Magnify
Increases the size of the text for the changes only in the redline document. You have several size options to choose from depending on your preference.

Change View
Change the document from a traditional redline (where changes are presented inline) to a Track Change document where the revisions are mentioned independently. The most prominent difference here is that traditional redline results colors are specific to the type of change (e.g., insertions are blue, deletions are red, etc.) With Track Changes, each author typically has their own color (e.g., Adrian is Blue, Chris is Red, etc.)

Accept / Reject Changes
Toggle through your document change by change accepting or rejecting the result.
