Overview
The Ajax app tracks lawyer time and creates narratives for time keeping. It runs in the background, collecting data as users work. As work is performed - drafting an email, researching case law, or searching for files - it scans the text on the screen for clues about what the users is working on. Then, it matches each minute of their time to a matter and generates a narrative.
Most lawyers work on more than one document at once, so Ajax was built to handle frequent window switches. The system "starts a timer" automatically when a file is opened, then pausing that timer and starting a new one any time the user clicks into a different file.
