Henchman is an intelligent contract drafting tool that helps legal professionals draft contracts faster and better by recommending and comparing previously written clauses from their own organization’s contract repository in Microsoft Word. Henchman is designed to be used during the drafting and negotiation workflows related to complex contracts. Although there is the potential to use it for other kinds of legal drafting, such as letters, memos, and litigation documents, the Henchman team has remained focused on contracts and contract clauses. However, in the first half of 2023 they anticipate releasing some new features that will accommodate additional drafting use cases.
